Lumina Daze returns on Sunday, August 29 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm at The Blockade Runner Beach Resort, 275 Waynick Boulevard, Wrightsville Beach, NC.

8 - 10 PM  Wilmington Big Band

This evening of fun for all ages will benefit the Wrightsville Beach Museum and featured shag and big band music.  Fun and games for the young at heart will include  activities such as an old-fashioned cakewalk.  A Silent Auction will include a wide assortment of fine art (including an embellished print and a 3-dimensional painting donated by George Pocheptsov), services, and specialties from local businesses.  Watch a movie just like they did at Lumina - on the beach!

Wrightsville Beach Museum's book on the history of the beach, Tide and Time, will be available for purchase.  The book features numerous photographs from local collections and newly-researched history of the beach.

Food and drink will be plentiful, sales of which will be provided by the Blockade Runner Resort. 

Tickets are available at the museum through August 28.  The Museum will be closed on Sunday, August 29th as we prepare for Lumina Daze.  Tickets will be available at the event on Sunday.  Prices are $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-18.  Ages 5 and under are free.   For more information call the museum at 910-256-2569.
